We, the board and members, made a conscience decision to assist other dogs than German Shepherd Dogs during these difficult economic times. Therefore, from time to time one of our members finds a dog or puppy in an Animal Control Facility that they simple can't walk away from.
Also, an increasing number of Puppy Mills are being raided leaving untold thousands of dogs in need. Puppy Mill dogs and puppies need more services than most. Many people and rescuers are unaware of the great needs of mill dogs/puppies. We realize to allow them to lead balanced lives services must include a vet for a full diagnostic health panel, assessment and treatment plan by a licensed behaviorist, certified trainers for obedience to help build the animal's confidence, a vet chiropractor/accupuncturist to put the body back in balance. Then socializing, house training, and love can be given.
Assists Other Breeds During Tough Economic Times
Foxy Roxi is four-years-old and just 12 pounds. Every once in awhile we rescue outside our breed type and Roxi is one of those times. She was just too sweet to leave in animal control. Someone debarked her prior to her rescue so she is a quiet little girl. She does love to be with her humans and hold her own with all the German Shepherd Dogs in her foster home. Foxy is happiest when sitting on the lap of her loved one. She is definitely a velcro dog and not the leasat destructive when left in a home by herself. Roxi is fully crated trained and just a joy to love and pet. You can learn more about Roxi by contacting her foster Mom at 352-259-0757 to schedule a meeting to meet Roxi. She is in a foster home in Lady Lake, FL.
